Salmah Elmasry is a researcher focusing on U.S. arms transfer policy and women and minorities in the Middle East. As the daughter of Egyptian immigrants and after witnessing the 2011 Arab Uprisings, Salmah became passionate about advocating for accountability in U.S. foreign policy. She previously interned for the House Foreign Affairs Committee Subcommittee on the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia, and for the Middle East Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). Salmah holds an M.A. in Arab Studies and a B.S. in International Politics from Georgetown University.
