Michael Ishak is a recent graduate of Columbia University, where he studied History with a regional focus on the Middle East. His research explores human rights, migration, and displacement in Egypt. Through this work, he hopes to amplify marginalized voices across the MENA region and ground foreign policy decisions in a deeper historical understanding.
