Omar Malik is a recent graduate of the University of Michigan, where he studied Public Policy with a specific interest in human rights, transitional justice, and atrocity prevention. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he now considers Michigan a second home. Omar previously interned at the Syria Justice and Accountability Centre and the Tahrir Institute for Middle East Policy. Through his academic and professional experiences, he has developed a strong personal commitment to human rights, justice, and advocacy.
